The company has signed up for membership to the global airline alliance oneworld® and is expected to be-come a full member at the start of 2012. airberlin has offered flights under codeshare agreements with American Airlines and Finnair since November 2010. In winter 2008/2009, airberlin entered into a collaboration with S7 Airlines and Hainan Airlines on routes to Moscow and Peking and in winter 2009/10 with Bangkok Airways on routes to Koh Samui, Chiang Mai, Phuket and Phnom Penh/Cambodia.
